This ‘Qube’ was a fun piece, i thought about making this in cg when i realized how difficult it would be to put this puzzle back together again. I was told many times not to take it apart because its impossible to put back. I figured if it impossible for my friends who are single then it is really impossible for me since i have to little boys. So what better way to accomplish it by doing it in CG! So here it is done in 3DSMAX + Vray+ Photoshop. Modeling took a couple hours and rendering took about 3 hours total. I wanted to print this piece in the future so i made it 8k. My box at the time couldn’t handle that big of a render so, i rendered it in section and then put it back together in Photoshop
